MBHT Ministry

It is the fundamental principle of Christianity to evangelize the world. Jesus said, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world" (Matthew 28:19-20).

He gave us the Great Commission so that we could spread the reason of our hope across the globe. Too many of us are not prepared to give a reason of our hope. That is precisely the purpose of the AROH question-and-answer articles—to prepare you to "give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you."

A Reason of Our Hope (AROH) is the spiritual side of this ministry and will equip the Christian with a strong defense for his faith. It will also reveal the true Word of God—not some watered-down, ear-tickling, liberal theology. Hopefully, non-Christians will also benefit from the truths taught here.

My Body His Temple (MBHT) combines the physical and spiritual growth of the Christian to keep his body, mind, and spirit strong and healthy for evangelizing. Teachers, preachers, missionaries, elders, deacons, and members can all have the energy and faith to bring others to Christ if they are living a healthy lifestyle. Those outside the faith may also benefit from the health principles espoused here.

Have you noticed the number of sick Christians listed in your church bulletin or announced in your assembly? In most cases the members are suffering from diseases that could have been prevented from a change in diet and lifestyle. It is my goal and ambition to reduce the number of sick Christians listed in church bulletins all over the world.

The church is supposed to be "called out" of the world, yet we suffer from the same diseases as the rest of the world. The statistics for divorce, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, abortions, children out of wedlock, and adultery have also risen in the church almost identically to that of the world. We must become the "called out" again. We must become spiritually and physically healthy again in order to show the world that Christ is King! The world needs to desire what we have. The only way to accomplish this is to change our lifestyle and teach others.

Purpose

The book of Genesis is the foundation to our spiritual and physical health. Our Savior quoted liberally from Genesis. The very Gospel rests upon the foundation of this book. If the truths and concepts taught in Genesis are rejected for evolution, humanism, the New Age movement, Gnosticism, or whatever form of evil doctrine man contrives, then we cannot maintain our salvation. If our foundation is weak, we will be "sent this way and that, turned about by every wind of teaching, by the twisting and tricks of men, by the deceits of error" (Ephesians 4:14 BBE).

Although anyone can benefit from this site and my e-books, I primarily built this site for the Christian who is willing to improve himself in order to spread the Gospel. No matter how small his task or talent may be, the Christian will be able to grow and change for the better by using this site … if he is willing to put some work behind his new knowledge.

Indirectly, this ministry is intended for the lost as well. When there are more spiritually and physically healthy Christians out in the world, the lost will desire to have that happiness and healthiness, too. That is when we can share the Gospel with them. The end result, then, is an increase in Christians and a decrease in the unsaved.
